The hard work of making an action film paid off tenfold for director Christopher Sheffield whose second feature, Split Lip is now available on Amazon Prime.
Split Lip hails from Sheffield’s Persephone Productions independent banner with actress Dorée Seay starring as an assassin whose organization turns on her after a botched hit job. You can read my review here for the specifics, but I can certainly attest that Seay puts on a worthy show in her newest screen outing for someone who only took one capoeira lesson years earlier. I interviewed her late last year where she discussed the process and working with Sheffield and his dedicated team and you can read more on that here as well.
Also starring are Maryam Cné, Chris Labadie and DeJean Brown.
