Cinemax series, Strike Back, has been one of the most interesting and thrilling shows I’ve seen. The network really had something going for itself following its premiere in 2011 and now it’s coming to a close, and although there will be more shows to come on the network, I can’t ignore just how awesome this program is.
Actors Philip Winchester and Sullivan Stapleton have done a fantastic job as odd couple brothers-at-arms for covert ops unit Section 20, dodging all sorts of dangers and close calls that have consistently put them in death’s reach, and there are other characters that have come and gone who’ve really added poignance to the show’s growth. It’s also good timing as the two leads are now branching out with their careers with upcoming TV shows on NBC – Winchester’s The Player and Stapleton’s Blindspot, so with the fourth and final run in Cinemax’s Strike Back: The Final Mission, brings an otherwise suitable title for one of the best shows in television history.
