Stuart Willis's Sci-Fi, RESTORATION, Lands A Trailer For Its Oz Premiere

Just in time for the weekend, Australian home TV viewers will be able to catch director Stuart Willis’s debut sci-fi, Restoration. The official trailer has arrived and presents a slick, solid look for a gripping suspense thriller by Willis as he brandishes some of his Hollywood VFX expertise as well.

SYNOPSIS:

In the near future, a company offers individuals the service of having their memories downloaded “for backup”. So, in the event of death, those memories can be uploaded into a new body.

After a routine backup, Oliver Klein wakes to find his memories restored into a body that is not his own. Trapped in a foreign body with its own ‘muscle memory’, Oliver discovers that he is capable of doing things the original Oliver never could and never would.

Oliver must find a way to reconnect with his family and his life, while coming face-to-face with the truth that he is no longer the only Oliver Klein.

The film is produced by Toby Gibson and co-producer Simon de Bruyn with a script by Willis and co-scribe Matthew Clayfield. Starring are Craig McLachlan and Grant Cartwright with Stephen Carracher, and actresses Nadia Townsend and Ailís Logan.
Catch the trailer below and be sure to tune in to Nine Network this Saturday, as well as on-demand streaming service Stan later this year.
