Subway Cinema Presents Three Days Of Classic Kung Fu!

Bullets Over Chinatown is reporting that the New York Asian Film Festival will be hosting a full three-day weekend of 35mm features of classic Hong Kong cinema titles at the Anthology Film Archives on April 19, 20 and 21. The film event will include such titles as The Odd Couple, Angel Terminators, Shaolin vs. Wutang and more, PLUS a special secret title screening on Saturday, April 20 at 8:00pm. The festival weekend will be dedicated to the memory of the late NY Asian Film Festival organizer and treasurer for Subway Cinema, Daniel Anderson Craft, who passed away on the evening of January 4, 2013 due to terminal cancer. Craft’s dying wish was granted when filmmaker J.J. Abrams and screenwriter Damon Lindelof responded to an online campaign to let Craft get a chance to see a rough cut of the upcoming film, Star Trek: Into Darkness. Craft was 42.
