TAKE COVER: Scott Adkins Announces New Action Thriller Filming Next Week

Cameras roll next week for Take Cover with actor Scott Adkins making the formal announcement on Instagram on Friday. Stunt professional Nick McKinless will direct this, his second feature following The Iron Grip (2005), from a script by Joshua James (Pound Of Flesh).

A burned-out professional sniper finds himself trapped in an all-glass penthouse by a lethal competitor and must find a way to survive and escape with little to no cover between him and the killer.

Adkins comes off the grand success of recent releases such as Accident Man: Hitman’s Holiday and Lionsgate’s John Wick: Chapter Four, and recently wrapped action sequel One More Shot with action star Michael Jai White. He is slated to appear next in Christian Sesma’s Lights Out, Egyptian action comedy Matrah Matrouh from directors Wael Ihsan and Shaimaa Ibrahim, in addition to recently rejoining Undisputed 3, Savage Dog and John Wick 4 cohort Marko Zaror for Chilean action thriller, Diablo.

McKinless has been a professional stunt performer dating back to 1999, evolving as stunt coordinator over the years for recent titles like Fast X, Transformers: The Last Knight, and hit television drama “Gangs Of London”.
