Malaysia martial arts action and thrills are still on the menu in 2026. For this, we now turn to Tarung: Unforgiven, the latest from writer/director Razaisyam Rashid who helms lead actors Mierul Aiman and Aedy Ashraf following their previous pairing on 2024 teen action drama, Kahar: Kapla High Council.
After unintentionally causing the death of his opponent during a martial arts tournament, Hatta vows to never participate in any fighting tournament again. However, when his only sister becomes seriously ill and requires costly medical treatment, he is offered ‘financial assistance’ by a head of mobsters in return for Hatta fighting for him in the underworld fighting ring.
The film also stars Zul Ariffin (Banduan), and Bront Palare (Ghost In The Cell), and arrives in Malaysian cinemas on May 7.
While production wrapped last Fall and there’s a bunch of production and behind-the-scenes stills that are online as well, there isn’t much else to tout as far as details go – at least until a solid teaser arises. For now, the cast and producer social accounts are spearheading the campaign with a slow brew of teaser imagery, including posters, several of which you can start with below. Check them out, and take an audible note of the music score playing in the images!
