It’s been a few years since things stirred for the then-pending remake of Ryoo Seung-Wan’s 2015 crime romp, Veteran. At long last however, the first official trailer and poster came this week signaling a December 21 release for The Big-Shot, host to actor Wang Qianyuan in a the lead role originally meant for Sun Honglei earlier on.
Enter director Wu Bai helming the story of a relentless detective who pursues a wealthy heir to a large conglomerate. Also starring are Bao Bei’er, Mei Ting, Qu Jingjing, Jack Kao and Pan Yueming while one of the biggest and best assets to this production yet has Korean stunt favorite Jung Doo-hong directing the action just as he did on the original.
