THE BLACKOUT: INVASION EARTH Goes Dark For Russian Sci-Fi Thriller This June From Shout! Factory

Gogol trilogy director Egor Baranov will make his foray into North America’s home entertainment market with the proud release of his 2018 sci-fi thriller, The Blackout: Invasion Earth. Shout! Factory has set a June 2, 2020 rollout date for VoD, Digital and Blu-ray, and an official trailer is now running.

Someone or something is plunging humanity into darkness…

When the end comes for civilization, it will not be terrorism or nuclear war that causes it, but The Blackout. An unexplained phenomenon has struck the Earth. Contact between most towns on Earth has been severed. A small area in Eastern Europe is the only location that still has electricity. When military forces venture outside, they discover a shocking truth — corpses everywhere. In stores, in cars, on roads, in hospitals and railway stations. Who or what is destroying all life on Earth? And how long can the last outpost of mankind endure?

Fans can find the film available by then on AppleTV+, Amazon, VUDU, GooglePlay, PlayStation®, XBOX, hoopla, Fandango Now, DirecTV, Comcast Xfinity, Spectrum, Cox, Charter, and AT&T U-verse.
