A new international trailer is out for director Robert Schwentke‘s life-after-death action adventure thrill ride, R.I.P.D.. Based on the hit comic book publication from Dark Horse by author Peter Lenkov who also serves as co-producer, the film stars Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds in a story about a detective who dies in the line of duty only to find himself an immediately credentialed and partnered-up officer of the Rest In Peace Department, a supernatural police dedicated to serve and protect mankind by sending demonic souls to the other side when they refuse to go peacefully.
The film is slated for release on July 19, 2013 in 2D and 3D, courtesy of Universal Pictures, and also stars Kevin Bacon, Mary-Louise Parker, Stephanie Szostak, Robert Knepper, James Hong, Marisa Miller, Mike O’Malley and Devin Ratray.
