Actor Cha Ryong’s career is one I can seldom spot anything online about apart from earlier credits such as Gangster Law (2000) among a few other credits. Most other bits I’ve spotted are in Hangul and I can’t read that, though special shout out to HanCinema for catching onto the latest press gems for Cha’s latest offering, The Final Fight.
This one sees Cha cast along with principles Choi Tae-Hwan, actress Yang Eun-Yong and actor Suh In-Suk for a story that isn’t too complicated to absorb. Two men bound for a single knockdown, dragout brawl rife with innumerate kicks to many faces, coupled with small armies of thugs dressed in black, and an evening rainfall for a more dramatic affect.
I’m a little inclined to believe this one is a bit dated judging by its grading; It definitely looks like something someone filmed in the early 2000s and I could be wrong.
Apart from that, nope…no complaints here. Save for any reviews that are forth coming, this trailer keeps things sweet and simple, selling what it needs to. And selling it hard! In the face. Flying side kicks and such. The Final Fight commences later this month according to the YouTube description – no date listed.
Whatever, I just wanna see what this offers.
