There are so many things happening in the world as we speak that it’s been difficult not to get sidetracked what with all that I have to do from this point forward. At any rate, the last three weeks have been quite the emotional rollercoaster in my personal life and with enough time, at least tentatively, to reflect and think on what I can do differently.

That especially goes for The Hit List, which makes its return to Film Combat Syndicate with the new year underway, and a world of stunt and independent film talent to share. That field ultimately includes a good share of actors and actresses who are also capable of stunt performance and physical acting, and so with this, I present the first entry into our Actor’s Showcase courtesy of actor Axel Nu, whose screen credits partly include The Take Down, Nightshooters, Fast And Furious Presents: Hobbs And Shaw, and the upcoming I Am Vengeance: Retaliation.

The Hit List continues with the usual raft of playlists comprised of stunt demo, training and performance reels from a multitude of professionals, current and up-and-coming: David Torok, Grégory Nolbas, Tricia Carney, Kevin Le, Greg Poljacik, Lucy Cork, Matt Emig, Danny Darwin, Grace Teo, Breck Robinson, Jeff Budner, Jen Mitchell, Randall Trang, Michael Laricchia, Rebecca Ferguson, Ryan John, Mario Filippi, Caitlin Hutson, Tyler Street, Nick Roeten, Miroslava Tomiskova, Roman Nevstakai, Benjamin Sanchez, Gelsey Laurie, Thompson Schille, Ryan Moffitt, Melissa Tracy, company reels by Swordsell Productions and Madrid-based LK Stunts, and the latesy stunt coordinator reel courtesy of Jimmy Christiansen.

Quigley Films

There are only a few tidbits of action stuff to promote. First and foremost is a teaser poster for Hero, a new fan-film inspired by The Legend Of Zelda from Quigley Films. Currently chronicled via Facebook, Tom Quigley directed the crowdfunded project which shot last year, and also showcased poster art online which also drew attention at MagFest earlier this month.

A teaser can also be viewed in a trailer playlist below which also includes a teaser for another upcoming Blade fan film titled Bloodhunt, from Ape Prime Productions and director Justin Connors, and the return of Barilliant Action with actor Chris Yong in Lost Souls, inspired by Mortal Kombat.
