THE HIT LIST: July 13, 2020

On the precipice of my second film festival coverage-loaded summer, The Hit List will be taking a brief hiatus until further notice. Alas, I’m happy to be able to put together this tentatively last hoorah while I get things in order on the writing end.

For now, time to cast a spotlight on some of today’s top and up-and-coming stunt performers with a round of demo and training reels featuring the following: Rorelee Tio, Jay Kwon, Jeff Budner, Gabriel Rios, Kenneth Wolf, Michelle Fisichella, Freddy John James, Joel Fridman-Rojas, Paul Hampshire, Masato Di Santo, Sara Beko, and Eli Johnson following up with a performance and coordinator reel, as well as Michael Quach with a coordinator reel.

It’s been a while since we heard from David Conk at Wolf Stunts but now he’s back on radar with Devin Reagan and co. for Mercenario Brothers which should be out soon, and the same especially goes for the explosive and hotly anticipated fanmade Fist Of Fury shortfilm by Martial Club! Check out both trailers below!

Time to start the fisticuffs, and for this, we turn to videos courtesy of Keanu Lam, Courtney Chen and Jay Kwon, followed by Mikko Löppönen’s latest stint with Judit Sziva and Anastasia Trizna, and Mike Moeller with Lucian Roucka. Following that are themed action short fights titled Endless Fight from The Martial Brothers, Goth Fight from Shaun Charney with Brian Manowitz and Vera Vanguard, Stantalot Crew with Pluto’s Call, Khmer actioner Break Bone, Eric Linden’s Marvel tribute with Skull: Punisher Reawakened, some situational action comedy and slapstick with Ong Bak 2 vets Jeeja Yanin and Theerada Kittisiriprasert at Wanwan Studio, Mask from Rahul Meena, and Brendon Groenewald’s action-packed South African superhero thriller, Ninth Life Crisis.

Enjoy the hits!
