Following its World Premiere at the 24th New York Asian Film Festival, The Informant, the latest crime comedy from director Kim Seok will have its day on Korean screens from December 3. The cast is led by Heo Sung-tae of “Squid Game” fame, along with Jo Bok-rae, Seo Min-ju, Cha Soon-bae, and Jang Hyuk-jin for the film’s release.
Heo plays Nam-hyuk, an inept detective forced to partner with Tae-bong (Jo), a razor-sharp informant after botching a sting operation. With a smuggling operation to bust and zero trust between them, the mismatched duo must find a way to work together in order to navigate their chaotic partnership.
