THE LAST HEROES OF RIO BRAVO Heads To AFM Prestige As Cameras Roll On Alexander Nevsky’s Western Trilogy Finale

Actor and producer Alexander Nevsky has saddled up once more for The Last Heroes Of Rio Bravo, completing the Rio Bravo Trilogy that began with Joe Cornet’s Gunfight At Rio Bravo (2023). The film is currently part of the sales slate at LA-based Prestige Interational Pictures ahead of the American Film Market which launches on November 10.

Nevsky, in a return to the director’s chair since 2014’s Black Rose with Kristanna Loken, is also directing The Last Heroes Of Rio Bravo from a script by Craig Hamann. In the threequel, he reprises his role as gunslinger-turned-lawman Ivan Turchin, who is forced to take on a ruthless outlaw gang holding a small town hostage.

Rounding out the cast are Lorenzo Lamas and James Chalke, with returning actors Nick Baillie, Olivier Gruner, and Tatiana Neva.

The film is being produced by Nevsky for Hollywood Storm and Baillie for Bishop Road Productions. Stefan Colson, Sam Wilkerson and Corey Brown of BoatShoes Entertainment serve as executive producers.

“THE LAST HEROES OF RIO BRAVO brings the trilogy to an epic conclusion with bigger action sequences and higher stakes for our hero,” said Nevsky.

A worldwide release is scheduled for 2027.
