THE LEGEND OF TARZAN Gets A Trailer

Director David Yates is on deck this coming Summer for another suitable entry for moviegoers of the True Blood kind, The Legend Of Tarzan. Alexander Skarsgård is up and about adapting the key character of Edgar Rice Burroughs’s classic work and there’s no question we have tons of CG to go around, but Skarsgård sure looks the part.

Margot Robbie plays the more civilized Jane who falls in love with him while we get a villainous looking Christopher Waltz, along with Djimon Hounsou, Jim Broadbent, John Hurt, and for some reason, Samuel L. Jackson who looks like he’s itching to drop an F-bomb in the new trailer…even though he doesn’t. This one opens on July 1, 2016 in 2D and 3D in select theatres and IMAX, so mark your calendars.
SYNOPSIS:

It has been years since the man once known as Tarzan (Skarsgård) left the jungles of Africa behind for a gentrified life as John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke, with his beloved wife, Jane (Robbie) at his side. Now, he has been invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament, unaware that he is a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge, masterminded by the Belgian, Captain Leon Rom (Waltz). But those behind the murderous plot have no idea what they are about to unleash.
