Do you know what a mutant is?
The New Mutants trailer dropped yesterday and before watching it, I would’ve said yes, I know what a mutant is. I grew up with the X-Men Saturday morning cartoons, comics, I’ve watched all the X-Men films (for better or worse). But this trailer…chills. There’s the mutants (obviously), the discovery of their powers, there’s horror…are they in a hospital to get better or something more sinister?

20th Century Fox in association with Marvel Entertainment presents “The New Mutants,” an original horror thriller set in an isolated hospital where a group of young mutants is being held for psychiatric monitoring. When strange occurrences begin to take place, both their new mutant abilities and their friendships will be tested as they battle to try and make it out alive.
Josh Boone (The Fault In Our Stars) wrote this with Knate Lee and Boone himself is the director. Game of Thrones fans might recognize Arya–I mean, Maisie Williams who stars along with Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton, Alice Braga, Blu Hunt, and Henry Zaga.
Look for this in theaters on April 3rd.
