Cinemax is currently gearing up for next year’s of the hit TV crime series, Banshee, now on its way to a third season. Actor Antony Starr and actress Ivana Milicevic lead the way once more in a story that centers on the events surrounding Lucas Hood, an ex-con and master thief who still finds himself dealing with his past while assuming the identity of a murdered sheriff — this among all of the intertwining drama and relationships one endures while living in the troubled Amish Pennsylvania town.
If you’ve been keeping up, you already know its a great series, with all the trimmings to make it worth your while for an hour at night. Brimming with drama, intensity and hard-hitting action, it’s a great thing to see Cinemax have such a rich original line-up next to shows like Strike Back which is now on its way to a fourth and final season. After this, who knows? All I know is that we have a season three trailer now online that pulls all triggers and no punches whatsoever, and its all unfolding beginning January 9, 2015 at 10pm/9c.
