Paramount Pictures is officially in the business of impressing as many Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans as much as possible in the wake of their 2014 hit reboot from helmer Jonathan Liebesman. Thus, with David Green at the helm, the upcoming sequel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows is drawing more and more from its familiar roots with characters like Bebop and Rocksteady along with actor Brian Tee cast to bring back Shredder from the first film.
You also get the talking brain-alien named Krang as seen in previous trailers and promos opposite the newly added Stephen Amell as streetside outlaw Casey Jones among our halfshell heroes, which is a plus for anyone fond of the franchise as a whole. However, these things are all left to interpretation; Not everyone is a fan of reboots and remakes and so this likely won’t sit well with all moviegoers at any given time soon. The good news though is that the success of the first film means it’s got fans, and with any luck, the sequel will top the first film plentily. We’ll find out on June 3, 2016 in theaters and RealD 3D, but watch the brand new trailer below and judge for yourself!
