Ashley Scott Meyers’ directing debut arrived just in time for the holidays with suspenseful crime pic, The Pinch. Billing it as a hybrid mix of Misery and Goodfellas, the official trailer making the rounds does the work in making the case while folks curious can weigh in with a viewing over at Amazon Prime.
When a low level mobster is nearly rubbed out by the boss, he decides to take the bonus he was promised by force, so he kidnaps the boss and demands a hefty ransom.
Meyers, who also pilots his own podcast and blog over at sellingyourscreenplay.com, has also written Rushlights and Lloyd Lee Barnett’s 2014 pic, Ninja Apocalypse. He pens the script and helms with a cast that lists Gunner Wright (G.I. Joe, the Dead Space game franchise) and James Aston Lake (Deadpool).
