Barco Escape’s triple-screen panoramic and immersive audio format is looking forward as the next step in theatrical moviegoing…only that will depend on which theaters make it available to folks. That said and for anyone who is curious about what this particular setup will introduce with Mauro Borelli’s forthcoming June 2 screenings of the new sci-fi, The Recall, can now take a stab at the experience with two new Barco-illustrative trailers now online.
When five friends vacation at a remote lake house, they expect nothing less than a good time, unaware that planet Earth is under an alien invasion and mass-abduction.
A wide 2D release is also set for June 16.
The Recall hails from Minds Eye Entertainment, in association with Bridgegate Pictures and VMI Worldwide, and is written by screenplay by Reggie Keyohara III and Sam Acton King. Action star Wesley Snipes is joined by actors RJ Mitte, Jedidiah Goodacre and Niko Pepaj, and actresses Laura Maria Bilgeri and Hannah Rose May.
