THE ROUNDUP: NO WAY OUT Punches In With New Stills From The Upcoming Don Lee Action Threequel

Actor Don Lee took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a few new stills from The Roundup: No Way Out, from director Lee Sang-yong. Production is reportedly wrapped on the pic according to Lee who stars in the film as well as produces the multi-film franchise, including the next title also filming which is now revealed as The Roundup: Punishment.

Kang Yoon-sung directed the first two entries, The Outlaws (2017) and The Roundup (2022), toplining actor Lee as Ma Suk-do, the head unit detective in Seoul’s Chinatown district. The first film saw Ma punch down on a brazen drug dealer looking to make his move in the underworld. The sequel saw our burly hero track a vicious killer from Vietnam back to South Korea in a riveting lead-up to a banging showdown of fisticuffs on a bus.

The new film now sees the “beast cop” himself in a regional investigation unit hunting down a new villain in a story that also involves a member of the Yakuza. Lee Joon-hyuk, Munetaka Aoki, Lee Beom-soo and Kim Min-jae also star.

The Roundup: No Way Out hails from Big Punch, Hong Film and B.A. Entertainment. K Movie is repping international sales.
