The Trailer For Michael Jai White's FALCON RISING Is Here, And You're Welcome!

Action star Michael Jai White gave fans a grand sigh of relief this month when he announced the official release date for his brand new action thriller, Falcon Rising. The film has already made its way throughout the festival circuit earning much approval as the latest martial arts action vehicle to hit the genre scene, one which credits White greatly as the film offers him a chance to play a role he’s waited for his entire career.

FALCON RISING – The first installment of our new CODENAME FALCON action franchise. The franchise will revolve around former marine John “Falcon” Chapman, a dark anti-hero driven by guilt, who will destroy himself unless given something else to destroy – a useful weapon-of-last-resort for the foreign ministry. The first movie sees Chapman traveling to Brazil to hunt down his sister’s brutal attackers, in the process discovering an underground world of drugs, prostitution, and police corruption ruled by the Japanese mafia. Directed by Ernie Barbarash and starring Michael Jai White as Chapman, the franchise will produce 1-2 movies a year following Chapman as he is sent to exotic locations to do the foreign ministry’s dirty work.

White is joined by actress Laila Ali, and actors Neal McDonough, Masashi Odate, with Hazuki Kato and Millie Ruperto. The film is directed by Pound Of Flesh helmer Ernie Barbarash and arrives on September 5, 2014! Check out the good stuff below!
