TITANS Lands A Final Trailer And Season Two Renewal

Upcoming DC Universe series, Titans, took to New York Comic-Con this week for an early premiere and lo and behold, the show has already ordered a second season according to multiple trade reports as of Wednesday night.

The good news, of course, is that if you’re subscribed to the new DC Universe app in North America, you’ll be getting first dibs at the 11-episode weekly series which kicks off next Friday. The bad news is if you’re only subscribed to a few streaming platforms and Netflix just happens to be one of them following recent announcements of the show’s global deal with Warner Bros. TV, it’s definitely not going to show up there unless you live anywhere else, sans China. (So subscribe, I guess?)

At any rate, DC Universe has issued a final trailer for Titans which hails from Weed Road Pictures, Berlanti Productions and WBTV.

Brenton Thwaites (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales), Teagan Croft (The Osiris Child), Anna Diop (24: Legacy) and Ryan Potter (Big Hero 6: The Series) lead the cast respectively as Dick Grayson/Robin, Rachel Roth/Raven, Starfire and Beast Boy – heroes from across the DC Universe as they form an alliance to protect Earth amidst a conspiracy that could bring about rapturing evil. Also starring are Alan Ritchson (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) as Hawk and Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights) as Dove.

Exec producers are Akiva Goldsman (Star Trek: Discovery), Geoff Johns (Arrow), Greg Berlanti (The Flash), Greg Walker (Extant), Sarah Schechter (Supergirl) and John Fawcett (Orphan Black).
