Kim Jong-hyun (Mr. Gam’s Victory, Run Off) is in production with action comedy, Two Cops and Five Kids for Netflix. The cast is being led by Cha Tae-hyun (Moving, Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds) and Uhm Ji-won (Dear Hongrang, Little Women), along with Do Young-seo, Kim Na-eun, Jung Han-sol, Sim Ji-an, and Kim Ra-hee.
Two Cops and Five Kids follows a detective who suddenly finds himself solely in charge of all his five children when his wife leaves on a mission disguised as a trip. Just as he’s trying to juggle parenting and preparing for his promotion exam, the whole family becomes unexpectedly involved in an operation to take down a criminal organization.
The film marks the first on-screen collaboration between Cha and Uhm, two of Korea’s most beloved and respected actors. A release date remains pending.
