Only about a month and a half away from the upcoming release of director Teddy Chen‘s newest Fall action thriller, Kung Fu Jungle, a new featurette is now going viral showcasing actor Wang Baoqiang. The featurette is a mixed bag of clips illustrating Baoqiang‘s range as an actor, from comedy to action, and merges about fifty five seconds in to share highlights from his upcoming role as the main antagonist of the film.
A cross between Bloodmoon (1997) and The Jackal (1997), Baoqiang stars opposite international action sensation Donnie Yen in a story of a convicted killer released from prison to help profile a rogue martial artist killing top masters in the city. The film already has a teaser and full-length trailer up and running which promise even more of what Yen does best for the fans to enjoy. In the meantime, watch Baoqiang‘s reel below and if you live in the states, you can catch Baoqiang for a limited theatrical outing with Yen in Well Go USA’s release of Iceman on September 19.
