WARIGAMI: Eddie Kim’s New Fantasy Martial Arts Series Debuts This Week!

Folks already subscribed to CW Seed in North America will be in good company with the two-hour premiere of Warigami, from writer Andrew Allen and director Jason Lapeyre. The series, featuring Emily Piggford and Kai Bradbury, booked a run in Canada earlier on after breaking news over the summer and will now commence its debut on Sunday night on the CW Network before streaming exclusively on the CW Seed app.

Wendy Ohata (Piggford) has just made three startling realizations: One, she has a twin brother; two, she’s a kami-jin – a descendent of an ancient Japanese people who can turn paper into deadly weapons; and three, there’s a kami-jin warrior hunting her down for reasons she doesn’t understand.

Also starring are Akiel Julien, Miho Suzuki and David Hewlett. Eddie Kim, who birthed the original 2015 webseries, serves as the show’s creator, as well as an exec producer.
