Watch The Extended New Trailer For ATTACK ON TITAN

It’s about that time with each day drawing nearer and nearer toward the U.S. releases of Higuchi Shinji‘s adaptation of the hit mangaa and animated series, Attack On Titan. Of course, one may wonder just how much we’re all going to be spoiled between now and next month with the onslaught of whatever TV spots and featurettes that come about. In that case, you might not be too keen on the latest extended trailer now running via IGN, although it isn’t a terrible spoiler of a trailer much while still showing just a little bit more new footage to sell to the fans.

That said, I’m already sold as of the first teaser at the top of the year. But that’s just me.

Attack on Titan” is based on the popular manga series of the same name (“Shingeki no Kyojin” in Japanese), which tells the story of a world where most of humanity has been destroyed by giants and where the last of mankind fights to survive behind three concentric walls – walls that were once impenetrable to the giants.

There’s plenty happening with this franchise over at FUNimation, the company behind the films’ distribution in the U.S., so keep them under your radar from here on out if you aren’t already.  Comic-Con International already hosted a spectactular screening in San Diego last weekend and hopefully that will signal a release not too far from the first film’s August 1 premiere.
