Following its announcent this past summer, director Taguchi Kiyotaka‘s new film, Ultraman X making way for a theatrical release in Japan on March 12, 2016. Fans can expect the return of some of their favorite characters from the series this past summer which saw actor Takahashi Kensuke help take on hordes of gigantic monsters 15 years after a solar flare unearthed them.
The mini-series itself is the 41st show continuing the long running legacy of Tokusatsu, which clearly makes Ultraman a quintessential for anyone interested in understanding Japanese sci-fi and cult fandom. The new teaser up for the new film as of a few days ago which you can view below.
