The film aims to take viewers into a new layer in the storyline with Jordan in the role of the troubled son whose father dies in Rocky IV (honestly, that film came out thirty years ago and if you haven’t seen that film yet and feel spoiled by this entry as already given in the trailers, I don’t know what you’re doing with your life). Coogler‘s script also introduces a few new characters that even help fortify the younger Creed’s story, with actresses Tessa Thompson and Phylicia Rashad providing the backdrop as the drama unfolds between two generations of hunger and struggle.
Feel free to check out the featurette mark November 25 on your calendars for its release from Warner Bros.
