With television shows and mangas proving to be a staple of movie fandom, director Hirano Shunichi‘s latest action-packed tactical thriller, S – The Last Policeman: Recovery of Our Future is no exception. A new trailer is now out following its teaser ahead of its theatrical release next month based on the work of manga authors Komori Yoichi and Todo Yutaka and the subsequent live-action TBS series that followed in 2009.
SYNOPSIS:
The NPS (National Police Safetyrescue), whose purpose is to catch extreme criminals alive, becomes the center of attention. A sit-in demonstration takes place. Members of the NPS, including Ichigo Kamikura. go to the protest site. Meanwhile, a transport ship is hijacked in the Pacific Ocean.
Series scribe Furuya Kazunao returns to adapt the script with returning actors Mukai Osamu and Ayano Go along with Aragaki Yui, Omori Nao and Hirayama Hiroyuki rounding out the current cast. Watch the trailer below!
