While actor and Bollywood action favorite Vidyut Jammwal joins today’s cadre of YouTubers congregating online to interview fellow action stars with his own online series, “X-Rayed”, he’s still in the business of film and now has a new crime thriller in tow with Yaara, a remake of Olivier Marchal’s own 2011 pic, A Gang Story.
Jammwal leads a cast that includes actress Shruti Haasan, Amit Sadh, Vijay Varma and Kenny Basumatary, for the story of two men who grow themselves into a four-man band of robbers known as the ‘Chaukdi Gang’. As the gist of the plot goes, their glory days ultimately land them behind bars, far and apart from each other before reuniting as ex-convicts years later, though for the two founders, things have definitely change.
Yaara, a ZEE5 Original, is an epic tale of a friendship that has endured many highs and lows. But can it pass the ultimate test?
Jammwal is also joined once again by his Bullet Raja director Tigmanshu Dhulia, and a release is on deck for July 30, exclusively on the ZEE5 OTT app, which is currently available to use in 190 countries.
