Hopefully it won’t be long before we see more precise info regarding the upcoming live-action superhero debut of 7g Lab’s digital comic, Zambo Dende. The project filmed on location in Bogota, Colombia close to a year ago and with November rolling by and several bits of behind-the-scenes teaser material floating online, the official poster just went viral which you can now view below.
Delivering as a proof-of-concept to pitch for feature potential in the hopeful not-too-distant future, Zambo Dende is the brainchild of creator Nicolas Rodriguez, with a story focused on Azuk, a slave child who would grow up to discover his noble roots and become a symbol of hope for the oppressed slaves of 16th century Latin America. Zaror leads Michelle Lee, Tait Fletcher, Esteban Cueto and the late Darren Shahlavi among the esteemed cast with featured fight choreography by Larnell Stovall (Undisputed 3: Redemption).
