Zazie Beetz Cast As Domino In DEADPOOL 2

There’s no release date as of yet for 20th Century Fox’s latest bid with Deadpool 2 but things are still progressing, and even moreso since last year’s debacles. With a cut-scene teaser already online for the new movie following the release of Logan, much ado has been about who is going to be cast and with this, comes new news after mention of David Harbour (Stranger Things) in talks for the role of Cable.

For this, we talk of femme fatale, Domino, who first appeared on the pages of Marvel Comics in 1991, known for her exceptional talents as markswoman along with her fighting prowess, accompanied by her ability to manipulate probability outcomes in order to survive. Having been an asset to Marvel teams like X-Men and X-Force, she will undoubtedly become a bit more prominent in the coming years with her inclusion in Deadpool 2, and thus, has been cast as so with actress Zazie Beetz (Atlanta) attached for the role.

The film marks David Leitch’s sophomore turn in the director’s chair following his solo debut with this summer’s Charlize Theron actioner, Atomic Blonde, and his partnered directing efforts with Chad Stahelski on the 2014 hit, John Wick. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, and The Martian scribe Drew Goddard are scripting with lead actor Ryan Reynolds starring, as well as executive producing with Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg.
News is yet to be confirmed on who will play Cable and other roles to be named. Stay tuned!
