THE GODS 2: THE DARK SIDE Sees Mykel Shannon Jenkins Wake With Vengeance In The Official Trailer

Beginning Wednesday, Echelon Studios is proudly releasing The Gods 2: The Dark Side, the latest from actor and filmmaker Mykel Shannon Jenkins (Undisputed 3: Redemption, The Paper Tigers). Jenkins is joined by much of the cast from the previous film including and not limited to Casey Ford Alexander, Nicoye Banks, Bryce Clyde Jenkins, Ernest Thomas and Kevin Interdonato.

The film is host to an event screening today along with a Q&A with Jenkins in attendance, coupled with its simultaneous release on the FAST platform, Tubi TV. Echelon has also unveiled the official trailer for the indie crime drama which you can check out just beneath the announcement below. Also starring are Kira Omans, Guy Nardulli, Daniel O’Reilly, Luca Managanaro, Mauricio Marte, Aaron Phifer, Antony Suavé and Francisco Antonio.

A follow-up to the 2017 film The Gods, the film centers on Mikey James (Jenkins) as he comes out of hiding to pay old debts, only to be fighting for survival against his former boss and old enemy Anthony Fasano (Kevin Interdonato; Bad Frank, City on a Hill) who’s awaiting his return.

On making the movie, Jenkins said: “The Gods 2 has been an amazing collaboration between cast and crew to create a thrilling story we hope audiences will love. It has been an incredible experience to reprise the role of Mikey and a joy to continue to tell his story.”

To celebrate the film’s release, The Gods 2: The Dark Side will receive an initial screening on February 22 at Cinelounge Sunset, Hollywood. Immediately following the screening, director and lead actor, Mykel Shannon Jenkins, will join fellow cast members for a Q&A discussion.
