96 MINUTES: Catch The Trailer For Taiwan’s Latest High-Speed Rail Hit Release!
The Scoundrels director Hung Tzu-Hsuan’s latest endeavor is already making bank with Taiwanese high-speed rail actioner, 96 Minutes. The film stars Austin Lin, Vivian Sung, and Jacob Wang, and opened for the Taipei Film Festival in June, and played before audiences at Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival in Korea before opening theatrically in Taiwan on September 5.
Taiwan’s first high-speed rail disaster thriller, delivering relentless suspense and cinematic intensity from start to finish.
A bombing tragedy forces bomb disposal expert Song Ken-Ren (Austin Lin) into retreat. Three years later, aboard a 96-minutes high speed train with his police officer wife (Vivian Sung), Song receives a chilling message: there is a bomb on board.
As panic spread among unexpected passengers, Song must race against time to locate the device -and confront the haunting secret he’s buried for years.
Can he save them all before the clock runs out? Can he defuse the threat – and redeem himself – before it’s too late?
96 minutes is now Taiwan’s third highest-grossing film and is currently poised for releases in China and Hong Kong, as well as Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam, and through Medialink for in-flight release by year’s end.
