Action Crime Noir SHADOW TRANSIT Looms Behind The Scenes In New Set Stills

Filming is already underway for action thriller Shadow Transit, and we’ve been sent a round of behind-the-scenes photos which you can view below. The action thriller is currently two weeks in with UK singer and songwriter Qymira in her feature acting debut, alongside actors Yoshi Sudarao (The Paper Tigers, Buffalo Boys), and KC Montero (Maria).

Production hails from BlackOps Studios Asia whose Pedring Lopez (Nilalang, Maria) is directing this – his first English language film. The story follows a grieving photojournalist and troubled DJ as they flee through Manila and Hong Kong’s criminal underworld while a dangerous syndicate pursues them.

Maia Yambao-Lopez and the film’s action choreographer, Sonny Sison (Maria) are producing the film through BlackOps Studios Asia, alongside the newly-launched ACT3 Studios HK.

As of this week, Lopez has already lined-up psychological horror thriller, The Ascendants, which shoots for Silent D Pictures early in the new year with actress Chelsea Islan (May The Devil Take You franchise) among its starring roster. He is also behind the latest first-season production of Filipino crime drama series, “Sellblock” starring Jericho Rosales, which awaits premiere and is also reportedly pending a second and third season.

In the meantime, international sales have already kicked off for Shadow Transit with Canada-based APL Film on board as official worldwide sales agent and distributor, ahead of the upcoming American Film Market.
