After 'Olympus' And 'London', Gerard Butler To Return In ANGEL HAS FALLEN For Millenium Films

He defended the White House as North Korean terrorists descended on the capital, and he protected the President with London under siege. Now, actor Gerard Butler is gearing up for a third outing as secret service agent Mike Banning in the new film, Angel Has Fallen which will take the floor at the American Film Market next week.

Deadline reports that scribes and creators Creighton Rothenberger and Katrin Benedikt, who wrote the first two titles in the trilogy – Olympus Has Fallen and London Has Fallen, will pen the script which sees our hero who now finds himself as the target with the rest of Washington D.C. at stake. Butler will also produce as well as Alan Siegel, Mark Gill, John Thompson and Matt O’Toole, and with Avi Lerner, Trevor Short and Christine Otal executive producing.
Antoine Fuqua and Babak Najafi directed the first and second film, respectively, earning Millenium Films a gross of nearly $366 million dollars. A director to helm Angel Has Fallen remains pending.
