Amazon is making it a priority this week with several announcements for its upcoming dated comedy pilots. Of course, the biggest priority for our readership would be the inclusion of action star Jean-Claude Van Damme’s newest series, Jean-Claude Van Johnson which premieres with the rest – I Love Dick starring Emily Gould and The Tick with actor Peter Serafinowicz on August 19 in the U.S., UK, Germany, Austria and Japan.

The show is executive produced by Peter Atencio (Key and Peele), Ridley Scott (The Good Wife), David W. Zucker (The Man in the High Castle) and Van Damme. From Scott Free Productions, the pilot is directed by Atencio and written by Dave Callaham (Mortal Kombat).
