An Assassin Fights For What Counts Most In The New Shortfilm Trailer For FREEMAN: NEW WORLD ORDER

France was just the place to be earlier this year, especially if your name happens to be Leroy Kincaide. The wrestler-turned-actor, producer and filmmaker has been well on the way toward a hopefully lucrative film career, and now has a new trailer as of just a few months ago for the new shortfilm, Freeman: New World Order.
The project generated a good share of buzz back in May when he and his team introduced it to the Court Métrage at the Cannes Film Festival. Kincaide spoke to Film Combat Syndicate to share a summary of the overall tone of how it was received, as well as the current status of the project. “…We had some very positive feedback from buyers and distributors which made us very pleased.” he said. “So at the moment, I’m writing the script and we are looking to formulate business relationships with other industry professionals in helping turning Freeman into an epic saga. Once we have the script, we will then start looking for financing, possible co-production with other territories and cast, amongst loads of other things.”.
Having already done a number of things on camera, Freeman: New World Order is actually Kincaide‘s first official shortfilm as of its conception last Winter and its completion this past March. And now, with the accolades of a memorable Cannes presentation under his belt, he intends on turning Freeman into a sprawling, action packed trilogy to adhere to what the shortfilm has to offer in its grand-scale potential for epic storytelling and character development. “What draws me in most with these characters is that the inner conflict that affects us all can be seen definitively as the journey unfolds.” he says. “The characters all have their own unique personalities that are relevant to their environments and or job. They all play a key part in helping the journey for the protagonist unfold.”.
The shortfilm is currently unavailable due to its exclusivity to the film festival circuit while Kincaide hopes to get cameras rolling in 2015. With any luck however, so long as it isn’t an issue, Freeman: New World Order could go public in a few weeks time. At any rate, the new trailer has already gone viral as of a few months ago, and here it is for your viewing pleasure. Check it out right now and stay tuned for more news at it develops, and if it is all the same to you, the project’s official Facebook page could use your subscription.
