AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH Ignites A War Between Na’vi In The First Trailer
Given that we’re about four years away from a potential anniversary of James Cameron’s inaugural Avatar, I can only suspect there may be some sort of event happening down the line. For now, part three of the franchise, Avatar: Fire And Ash makes the rounds this week with a trailer now online after premiering during the opening weekend of The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
With “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” James Cameron takes audiences back to Pandora in an immersive new adventure with Marine turned Na’vi leader Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), Na’vi warrior Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña), and the Sully family. The film, which has a screenplay by James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver, and a story by James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver & Josh Friedman & Shane Salerno, also stars Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Oona Chaplin, Cliff Curtis, Britain Dalton, Trinity Bliss, Jack Champion, Bailey Bass and Kate Winslet.
It took thirteen years before another Avatar film was made, so it’s great seeing the long-awaited sequels in more continual succession after 2022’s Avatar: The Way Of Water, and with at least two more installments reportedly in toe before Cameron brings the epic sci-fi saga to a close.
Avatar: Fire And Ash opens on December 19 in theaters. Catch the trailer below:
