BALIDAN: Samir Bhatt Makes A Killer Entrance In The Pre-Teaser For The Nepali Action Epic
There’s litte detail to report on Balidan, the new action epic from director Santosh Son. What I do know is that the film stars celebrated actor Samir Bhatt, who can currently be seen in the film’s exhilirating pre-teaser from Aasusen Films, who have just a tad more on the film and its encompassing themes:
“Balidan” is a Nepali film that explores the Maoist movement aimed at bringing about socio-political change in Nepal. The film delves into the struggles, sacrifices, and ideological conflicts faced by those involved in the revolution. Through its narrative, “Balidan” portrays the complexities and the human cost of striving for a new societal order, highlighting the courage and determination of the revolutionaries as well as the impact on their personal lives and the broader community.
The pre-teaser alone is worth a look while we await a full-on teaser and trailer in the months ahead. In the meantime, Nepalese moviegoers can expect this one to arrive on September 29 in time for the Dashain holiday.
