Bautista Lines Up BUSHWICK And MARAUDERS

It’s no easy feat to live in NYC, but it’ll be no less easy for actress Jane Levy as she’s forced to survive the living hell that directors Cary Murnion and Jonathan Milott have happening in their latest film, Bushwick.

The film was announced back in March with Levy set to play 20-year old Lucy who emerges from the subway only to find her neighborhood in Brooklyn under siege as the result of Texas’s latest attempt to secede from the union. Lucy will be forced to fend off looters, local militias and a crazy cousin within the span of five treacherous blocks before she can reunite with her grandmother.

Fortunately she won’t be alone on her mission as the developments don’t end there with word from Deadline that Dave Bautista will be joining Levy as Stupe, a veteran who aides Lucy on her mission. Graham Reznik and Cold In July scribe Nick Damici wrote the script with Bullet Pictures and XYZ Films producing.

In addition, another new report from Deadline also forwards the latest on Bautista‘s addition to Extraction helmer Steven C. Miller‘s new actioner, Marauders. Extraction co-star, actor Bruce Willis reunites with Miller for the film in which he will play the owner of a secretive bank now under investigation by the FBI when it’s stolen loot is forwarded to charity.

Christopher Meloni, Lydia Hull, Tyler Olson, Christopher Bowen, and Danny A. Abeckaser also star from a script Michael Cody and Chris Sivertson with 4th Wall Entertainment producing with financers Emmett/Furla/Oasis and The Fyzz Facility for release through Lionsgate Premiere.

Bautista is currently maintaining the fanfare with a slew of upcoming roles in Guardians Of The Galaxy: Vol. 2 for 2017, the forthcoming releases of Matthias Hoene’s Warrior’s Gate, Scott Mann’s Bus 657, and John Stockwell’s Kickboxer: Vengeance, with Sam Mendes’s 007 sequel, Spectre, aiming for cinemas October and November.
