Berlinale 2017: TIGER GIRL Takes A Bite Out Of Conformity In The First Trailer

The 67th Berlin Film Festival kicks off in just a few days and Picture Tree International is readying its own line-up before then. As such, it also includes Love Steaks helmer Jakob Lass whose latest dark comedy, Tiger Girl, is taking to the floor for its Panorama premiere this Friday.
SYNOPSIS:

TIGER gets what she wants. VANILLA does not know what she wants. Apart from one important thing: a uniform. TIGER teach her to bite, and VANILLA tastes blood. So TIGER needs to learn a new rule: They sow the wind and reap the whirlwind.

Maria-Victoria Dragus stars with actress Ella Rumpf in the title, and for this, we have an award-winning director in Lass with a story that looks full of energy and intrigue, and some exceptional looking action courtesy of fight choreographers Jade Dregorius and Joshua Grothe. Assuredly, this is nothing commercial for the hardcore MA cinema crowd, but it’s fun to step outside of the box sometimes and Tiger Girl looks like absolute fun.
The film opens in Germany this April and Screendaily brings us the official trailer you can view below. Also, feel free to peep the sales sheet just beneath!
