BLACK CREEK: Watch The Official Trailer For Cynthia Rothrock’s New Martial Arts Revenge Western
The first official trailer rolled out over the weekend for the new martial arts action Western, Black Creek. Directed by Shannon Lanier and action specialist Mike Moeller, the film is billed as a passion project by the one and only Cynthia Rothrock whose preceding Indiegogo campaign surpassed its goals in the past year to bring together a bevy of martial arts and action cinema veterans.
Black Creek is a dark, gritty, dystopian, western action martial arts film featuring a strong ‘no-holds-barred’ female protagonist portrayed by action film star Cynthia Rothrock.
The plot centers around a sheriff’s sister who seeks revenge against the terrifying leader of a group of outlaws after discovering he brutally murdered her brother, his wife, and other family members in a gritty southwestern town.
Rothrock took to Comic Con over the summer to premiere an exclusive action sizzle teaser to attendees which soon went live online to help gain traction. The official trailer is now here to offer some more storied substance to couple with its fight-heavy aesthetic in its promise to the martial arts film niche and Rothrock fans everywhere who’ve followed her career of over 60 films dating back to her Hong Kong cinema heyday.
Black Creek reteams the China O’Brien star with cohorts Richard Norton and Keith Cooke, and joins her on screen with Patrick Kilpatrick, Keith Vitali, Benny “The Jet” Urquidez, Don “The Dragon” Wilson, and R. Marcus Taylor, and more.
