BLOODHOUNDS Squares Up For Season Two In A Trio Of First Look Stills!

Netflix’s “What’s Next?” K-Content slate is making the rounds for subscribers this week. For some of us, that means finally getting a look at the new season of Bloodhounds as announced a year ago with actors Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi, reprising their roles.

It also means more faces will be added to the roster, namely Jung Ji-hoon (a.k.a. Rain) (Ninja Assassin) who plays the newest in the show’s villain-to-beat line-up. The show’s premiere date remains pending, although obviously that will be in 2026, and for this, we have a trio of new stills to share along with a season-two description:

The two young boxers who once took down an illegal loan-shark ring with their bare fists are back, with even more thrilling, high-octane action in store. In Bloodhounds Season 2, Gun-woo and Woo-jin set their sights on an illicit international boxing league. Woo Do-hwan returns as Gun-woo, the rising boxing champion, while Lee Sang-yi reprises his role as Woo-jin, his loyal friend with a ‘once-a-marine, always-a-marine’ resolve.

Jung Ji-hoon joins the cast as Baek-jeong, a ruthless villain whose overwhelming strength can easily crush a boxing champion. He threatens to pull Gun-woo into the league’s shady business — and now, Gun-woo and Woo-jin must risk everything to take on this formidable new enemy in a fight that will push them to their limits.

Bloodhounds is written and directed by Jason Kim (Officer Black Belt), and based on Jeong Chan’s Naver webtoon of the same name, and is produced by Studio N and Ghost Studio.
