BLOW BY BLOW: New Poster Teases Rigan Machado’s Debut Round In The Directing Arena

Aside from his competitive and teaching chops, celebrated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athlete Rigan Machado is also a proponent of his craft in movies and TV. For years, he’s elevated his profile on screen as an actor and producer, and even as stunt coordinator on a few occasions, and nowadays, he can be found touting his latest directorial debut, Blow By Blow, which had its premiere at TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday.

Presented by Insurgence and Iris Indie Entertainment, Blow for Blow plunges audiences into the brutal world of underground fighting. The story follows a former gangster turned restaurant chef, whose son becomes entangled with his ex-mafia partners. Forced back into the criminal underworld, he must face trials of life and death to save his son—delivering a gripping tale of honor, betrayal, and redemption.

Machado himself also appears in the film alongside Jean Machado and John Machado, and also features Caleb Caldwell, Andreas Contogouris, Rafaela Gonçalves, Carolla Parmejano, Paulo Costa, Yasamina Kabisch, Cezar Galvão, and Tomm Voss.
