All roads point to Marvel Entertainment as the week commences with a raft of news, now ongoing with a second official trailer for Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck’s Captain Marvel.
The film is on par for a March 8 release and host to actress Brie Larson in the title role, playing a Kree warrior destined to learn where she really comes from, and who she’s meant to be– I mean we’ve seen this movie before, so despite all circumstances to the matter of surprises and the formula we now have on full display with every MCU film, I think we’re pretty clear on the plot here.
Samuel L. Jackson is back to make the rounds as a younger, SEMI-CG’d Nick Fury with Jude Law, and actor Ben Mendelssohn arriving on time in villainous Skrull fashion.
Points to the folks who decided to give us the big costume reveal at the tail end too… I guess it’s fine, though it’ve been cool if they held back on that with three months left. Oh well…
