Simon Brand will direct from a screenplay and story by Benjamin van der Veen and Kario Salem, and Nicolai Fuglsig, the latter who serves as exective producer with Eva Marie Daniels and Scott Lambert.
Willis is also currently lined up to appear in director Brian A. Miller’s upcoming crime thriller, The Prince, with Jason Patric, John Cusack, Curtis Jackson (a.k.a. 50 cent) and Ninja Assassin star Rain. The film comes out later this year.

Opposite then-lead actor Keanu Reeves who starred as undercover detective Johnny Utah, the role of Bhodi was previously played by late actor Patrick Swayze starring as the adrenaline-driven bank robber in search of the ultimate surfing rush; Core‘s film will instead center in the world of extreme sports.
