THE WHITE STORM 3: HEAVEN OR HELL Delivers Decisive Imagery In Climatic Official Key Art And Stills From The Summer Release!

One of the most propulsive action crime sagas ever made in the last decade remains on track for a third entry in its non-linear layout with The White Storm 3: Heaven Or Hell. The Herman Yau-directed thriller starring Louis Koo, Aaron Kwok, and Sean Lau will release in local cinemas this summer on July 28, as announced by AMTD Digital Inc. on Wednesday. Fallen helmer Thomas Marchese is back with his newest mystery thriller, From Black, with new stills to check out below. International sales outfit WTFilms have made available several photos and initial market artwork for Escalation, the new action crime thriller reuniting director James Mark with actors George Tchortov and Chris Mark. The film, which screened for buyers in Berlin in the past week, is produced by Bruno Marino (Enhanced), and also reteams the helmer a fourth time with writer Matthew Nayman, who co-wrote with Brett Caron. A former police officer puts aside his differences with the force in order to track down his brother’s murderer. He will need to team with a younger detective to bring the case home. Tchortov, whose credits partly include Paramount+ series “Mayor Of Kingstown” and the CBS series reboot of “McGyver,” previously starred in the former Mark’s second and third features, sci-fi actioner Enhanced with Alanna Bale, and contained sci-fi thriller Control featuring Sara Mitch. THE BROKENHEARTED: New Stills From Leroy Nguyen’s Gritty New Indie Action Drama

Actor and director Leroy Nguyen (Black Scar Blues, Yes Auntie!) continues to ride the momentum of the start of the new year, with the current campaign for his next directorial effort, The Brokenhearted. New stills have been added via his official Instagram which you can also view below, currently totaling a dozen featuring Nguyen along with the rest of the cast. The Brokenhearted hails from 02 Hero Media and Nguyen’s Rising Tiger Films banner. The film chronicles the violent aftermath of what happens when money becomes a factor between three former childhood friends – a struggling martial artist whose school fails after taking out a loan, and two gangsters: one intent on collecting on the debt, and the other looking to quell the fallout before it’s too late. THE ORIGINAL GANGSTER: Get A Look At The New Modern Action Crime Thriller Out Of Malaysia From Director Syamsul Yusof

Currently in production is The Original Gangster which hails from director Syamsul Yusof, best known for his work on the KL Gangster films and his newest period action epic, Mat Kilau: Rise Of The Warriors. The Original Gangster hails from Syamsul Yusof Films and Razor’s Edge Pictures, and is being billed as the most expensive production out of Yusof’s wheelhouse. Plot details are unknown at this point though, while Yusof and the official fanpage for the film on Instagram have already released several stills which you can also view below. The film stars Sharnaaz Ahmad and Aaron Aziz along with Mat Kilau co-star Beto Kusyairy, and even Yusof himself, along with action stalwart Yayan Ruhian among others. Actor Don Lee took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a few new stills from The Roundup: No Way Out, from director Lee Sang-yong. Production is reportedly wrapped on the pic according to Lee who stars in the film as well as produces the multi-film franchise, including the next title also filming which is now revealed as The Roundup: Punishment. Kang Yoon-sung directed the first two entries, The Outlaws (2017) and The Roundup (2022), toplining actor Lee as Ma Suk-do, the head unit detective in Seoul’s Chinatown district. The first film saw Ma punch down on a brazen drug dealer looking to make his move in the underworld. The sequel saw our burly hero track a vicious killer from Vietnam back to South Korea in a riveting lead-up to a banging showdown of fisticuffs on a bus. Netflix is further entrenching itself with some of Japan’s top creatives to bring stories to life with TBS Holdings Inc.’s live-action production brand, THE SEVEN, whose roster includes none other than Akira Morii who is a key name behind the production of several upcoming shows. Such title would be Alice In Borderland, which debuted a trio of first look stills over the summer and now has some new photos to share which you can view in the gallery above. Kento Yamazaki stars in the film along with Tao Tsuchiya in the series which is based on Haro Aso’s hit manga, and centers on a slacker who gets trapped in a death game dimension with no direct way out, except to play and survive each game. Principal photography wrapped this week for director Jimmy Henderson’s new action thriller, KTV – Killing Time Violently, and we have several behind-the-scenes stills to share to mark the occasion, which you can view below. Henderson directs from a script he wrote with Kai Miller, reuniting with featured actor Dara Our (Hanuman, Jailbreak, The Prey). Our stars in the role of Mak, an estranged father who must use his skills as a reformed bar-brawler to find a way out and make it home in time for his son’s birthday when he gets caught up in a gang raid at a local club on his first day of work. COBRA KAI Season 5 Stills Tease The Return Of Another Familiar Face, And More!

Marking one month from the premiere date of the fifth season for hit series, Cobra Kai, new stills are online to view below including a few featuring the return of actor Sean Kanan back into the role of Mike Barnes from The Karate Kid: Part III, and the addition of actress Alicia Hannah-Kim debuting as South Korean sensei, Kim Da-Eun. The two join this season’s huge roster toplined by William Zabka, Ralph Macchio, Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, Courtney Henggeler and Peyton List, along with Martin Kove, Yuji Okumoto and Thomas Ian Griffith. Netflix kicked off #GeekedWeek on Monday with a raft of new gems to host for its audience including teasers for season two of Warrior Nun, the season one premiere of The Sandman, a new trailer for season one of Resident Evil, a behind-the-scenes look at One Piece and more. Today’s press kit also included a trio of stills featuring Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya in the upcoming second season of dystopian survival thriller series, Alice In Borderland, following its December 2020 premiere. Alice In Borderland hails from director Shinsuke Sato, and is an adaptation of Haro Aso’s Shogakukan publication about a slacker who gets trapped into an alternative reality death game of survival. First look stills are now making the rounds for Frost, the new thriller from director Brandon Slagle (Crossbreed, Attack Of The Unknown). Cleopatra Entertainment is announcing picture wrap following a 2020 Winter shoot on location in the San Bernardino mountains in southern California, with an October 11 release following its forthcoming festival run. Slagle directs from a screenplay storied by James Cullen Bressack penned by Robert Thompson.
