HiGH&LOW: BORN TO BE HiGH Teases A Thai Action-Fueled Spin To The Japanese Franchise In 2027!

Japanese action franchise HiGH&LOW is going to Thailand in 2027 with the launch of new series venture, HiGH&LOW: BORN TO BE HiGH. Thailand’s GMMTV and Parbdee Taesuk are producing and mainlining the series with a cast of nearly a dozen A-listers in the region, including Nanon (Korapat Kirdpan), Sky (Wongravee Nateetorn), Nani (Hirunkit Changkham), and Pond (Naravit Lertratkosum). The story inherits the fascinating worldview of the previous “HiGH & LOW” series, and depicts a dynamic world unique to this new chapter through stylish action and the drama of young people standing up to protect their beliefs. WMAC MASTERS RETURNS: Casting Begins For The Hit 90s Martial Arts TV Revamp

Casting is now underway for a reboot of the hit 90s TV show, WMAC Masters. The project, which celebrates the show’s 30th anniversary, is still in early development with James Sang Lee (Mortal Kombat: Conquest, Plane) and WMAC Masters veteran Carmichael “Kid Carmichael” Simon (“Red vs. Blue,” “RWBY”) executive producing for Cannon Entertainment Group. The update is the latest in a series of steps for development of the show with a new merchandising endeavor underway over at Kickstarter shepherded by SMAT Designs, whose Scott Manthey is also an exec producer. Kristopher Landis, author of the 2022 paperback, “Quest for the Dragon Star: An Oral History of WMAC Masters,” is penning the series.
